Review Update: Real Estate Crowdfunding continues to be the hottest sector in equity crowdfunding. We expect RealtyShares to continue to grow with the industry in 2015 and beyond.

As we closely follow the Crowdfunding landscape, one thing is becoming very clear.
Real Estate crowdfunding will be one of the biggest opportunities for both Investors and Issuers alike. With the opportunities that real estate brings to the space, it also is proving out to be the most competitive arena as the JOBS Act proves to be the most sweeping changes in investment (and real estate investment) of the last 20+ years.

For 2014, Millionaires see Real Estate as the top place for their investment dollars according to Bloomberg. There was a time when only the wealthy could participate in Real Estate investment. All that has changed, crowdfunding sites like RealtyShares, PatchofLand, FundRise and RealtyMogul are making Real Estate Investment available to Accredited Investors with investments as low as $5,000. Although currently limited to Accredited Investors, most of them have never made Real Estate investments aside from perhaps their home or owning their place of business.

We have singled out RealtyShares for the purpose of our first Real Estate Crowdfunding Site review due to a few recent stories that caught our eye.
