I have a growing pile of medical bills, and some friends suggested that I start a GoFundMe campaign and start posting the link. I hate to do this, but here goes!
I'm 28 years old and have had health issues since childhood - debilitating hormonal migraines, borderline-severe scoliosis, frequent severe colds/bronchitis/ear infections, a deviated septum, hypertension, the beginnings of arthritis, and now I was just diagnosed with a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos (EDS) to bring it all together. There is no cure for EDS; only treatment of symptoms as they come along.
Unfortunately, my salary is too high to be eligible for government assistance and my insurance provider refuses to pay for most of my bills.
