With this money I'm going to produce a short film that I have written and that I will also star in. This isn’t a vanity project. But rather, a creative exploration that will develop my understanding of what goes in to making a film. I believe that we need to follow our bliss. And this is mine. I’ve wanted to tell stories and express myself through film since I was a little girl. I want to learn all about the different aspects of filmmaking so I can empower myself, because the more we can understand, the more tangible filmmaking becomes.
