I have been teaching life skills to students with social emotional/behavioral disabilities for the past 8 years. Public school is not the place to help these kids. I hold a master's degree in Psychology and am working towards my licensing in that area.
This business is the start of something bigger, my helping people achieve their goals and find their dreams through positive life coaching, counseling, and career coaching including education. I also hope to continue to work with adolescents with social emotional disabilities to help them reach their full potential through small group social skills classes where these special young people will learn how to interact with others, both adults and peers, through practice and positive intervention strategies.
I have my retirement from teaching to contribute to this venture in addition to what I an hoping to collect here. This money will be used to open my office, pay start-up rental costs including first last and deposit. It will buy furniture for my space. It will also be used to promote my business and get us known out there to the people who need our services including newspaper ads, online advertising, and local advertising in businesses.
