The Day in the Life of a CrowdCo Part 2 of 8

Introduction

In building this narrative we are recording the thoughts of two Creative CrowdCos as
they set out to bring their “idea” to market through the Crowd.

We start with our inner belief in the CrowdCreative Process:

• CrowdSourcing allows teams to build where they are planted while accessing
quality resources around the country and around the globe.
• CrowdFunding brings a paradigm shift to the capital formation process of start-up
ventures. It does not replace or compete with Angels, VCs or Banks but fills in
the missing segment of the start-up lifecycle cash flow effectively.
• CrowdMoving our new process initiative takes the wave of open community
participation to its final objective including the crowd in the entire lifecycle of
the product/service. They came and joined in the development and funding of the
project; why not let them participate in the selling and profits of the work they
accomplished.
• CrowdCreative Companies invest in their ultimate customer from the moment
their great idea takes shape and maintain real effective connections throughout the
product/service lifecycle. They have no objections to creative corporate structure
or fear of distributive workplaces. They just feel safer involving their customer in
the process from the very beginning. Crowds make great things happen.

When shifts are seen in economic cultures two things are recorded. One – there is pain
as the old ways reveal their issues. Two – a new process is created and, while in the
beginning many resist its unnatural actions or hypotheses, it creates a better pathway to
economic success.

Our market economy has announced change and, due to the powerful advance in Internet
communications, the response has been CrowdCreative initiatives. While there will be
a plethora of choices and styles of crowd participation the underlying fact is that product
lifecycle structure is going to expand beyond the closed door processes of the last 70
years.

Project Update Highlights

The SAFE team has begun the gearing up process and we have scheduled meetings with
our portal team to make sure everyone is working towards the same goals.

MeCareHealth team continues to focus on setting up its first release of their multilevel

support software. We are in the midst of negotiating with NIH about licensing some of
their research and intellectual property for the development of the WellScore Platform.
We have submitted the initial technology transfer agreement to the NIH. We are
quite excited about the prospect of incorporating some the leading edge research and
technology to our platform. Up to now we are focusing on developing our initial
platform as much as possible to before our Crowd Funding Campaign.

Second Step in CrowdCo Lifecycle

Selecting the best CrowdFund platform for your project.

This should be a team decision – always good to get your core team voting on your path
to success. CrowdFunding Platforms have both style and substance that can add to
your campaign. There are no bad sites but there are sites best suited to your needs.

The CrowdCo needs to focus on how their project will be seen by the platform’s visitors.

It should be acknowledged that extensive social media marketing is required to
CrowdFund. While some CrowdVestors will ‘find you on a platform’ you cannot rely
on the platform for bringing the right people to your project or to get you funded. YOU
MUST DO THE WORK of gaining the attention of the Crowd through social media.

The platform should present your company well and enhance your product/service
offering, but you are in full control and must provide the networking to be successful. A
good place to start your search is https://crowdfunding-website-reviews.com/ where
you can get a good handle on the types of platforms and other service available and a
solid review. Take the time to read some of the reviews – they actually expand your
understanding of the overall process of CrowdFunding.

Rounding out the social networking team for your project:

Besides the selected CrowdFunding Platform you need to evaluate other products and
services you will need for your efforts:

Website build and maintenance
E-mail tools and communication services
Media and Article distribution services
Videographer
Temporary administrative support

The time to line up and secure critical services is before you kick off your program.
Think of your CrowdFunding Campaign as a 1 night play. You need to get all the actors
on the same stage with their lines rehearsed and ready when the curtain goes up. Of
course you are going to have a 30-45 day run but you don’t want to find out on day 10

that your webmaster won’t have time to build the new site pages you need.

Planning, as always, makes for a much better curtain bow.

Build a master list of vendors and leave nothing off.
Identify when and how they need to deliver for your process.
Get agreement and include them in your core campaign team if they are critical.

On the next page we provide a workable plan for your CrowdFunding campaign. Each
CrowdCo will build and maintain their plans as they see fit but this will at least begin to
identify the critical tasks and activities required for a successful campaign.

We have also included the Campaign Tasks as documented by RocketHub because we
like the way they focus everyone on a week to week basis. It is a good point to get your
team to understand the weekly process as a measuring milestone, and that campaigning is
a repeatable process hopefully gaining momentum each and every week.

Project planning in all its various details does one thing very well. It places tasks that
need to be accomplished in an orderly manner to reduce stress on the project team.

Second Step in CrowdCo Lifecycle:

Vendor management evaluates and selects the best
CrowdFund platform for your project.

SAFE has interviewed and researched three CrowdFunding Platforms, put the plan in place, and begun to
educate the team on the activities each will be involved with. This planning seems slow but essential for
the proper execution of the campaign.
Getting your team ready for the process and having all your websites prepared is essential for a quality
campaign.

They (the Capital Formation Pundits) just sent me the good news by certified letter.
They assured me that there is a 100% chance that we will NOT GET FUNDED if we
don’t at least tell people we are here. I guess this network marketing stuff has some
value…
