Every man at some point in his young life realizes he must cast off the shackles of boyhood and stride courageously towards manhood. He must take responsibility for his actions, build his character, and not be passive in the face of adversity but rather be the first to lead the charge.

This transition has many steps, and manifests itself in a different way for each individual. Nevertheless, one of the most timeless and symbolic of these is becoming a Grillmaster, where a man trains in the art of meat preparation in its infinite varieties and learns to use the tools and hardware at his disposal. Having mastered the art, his final step to being confirmed as a Grillmaster is to acquire a quality grill that will allow him to use his gift to bring the joy of the grilling life to others. Much like getting his first car or apartment, this crucial moment ushers in a new era in the young man's life.

This is the point in my life at which I find myself. I have been trained in the truest forms of the art of grilling and the Great Barbeque since a young age, and in order to be able to use my gifts to serve others in this character-building and time-honored manner I must now acquire a grill worthy of the Grillmaster's calling.
