My name is Kristen Eagan. I am trying to raise money for my brother and his family. 3 months ago his son was born with an Imperforate Anus. In laymens terms he was born without a rectum or any kind of muscle there to properly dispose of waste. He has to wear a colostomy bag that needs to be changed a few times a day.
In April he is due to have the first of many surgeries to correct the problem. There is no guarantee they will be able to link the muscle to the new opening so we dont know if he will ever have regular body functions.
Amidst of all this my brother lost his job and they are now homeless, essentially living in the streets. I try to help as much as I can financially, but I work paycheck to paycheck myself. I let him stay sometimes at my house but really I do not have the space with my family of six, my home is overcrowded. My goal for them is to raise $8,000. This will help to pay for rent and security somewhere and ease some of the stress of of Ian's parents so my brother can find other employment. I broke this down into what we would need to reach that goal..400 people to donate $20.. but any donation would help. Please find it in your heart to help this little baby. I want him to be safe, warm, happy and healthy and have a place to call home . Thank you in advance! Each donation will increase the quality of my nephews life.
