Hello Everyone,

My name is Adam Owens. I started this campaign to help pay off my student loans and relieve me of my shakels. My goal is to raise $30,000 to pay off my own loans and then donate anything over that back other students or some reputable charity. Recently I seen a few stories about people paying off their $300,000 mortgages by crowding sourcing! So I thought wow if people are willing to donate that much to someone just because this guy doesn't like having a mortgage maybe 30000 will give me a dollar or 60,000 give me 50 cents.

Now I know you're probably thinking get a job and pay them yourself you bum, and to that I will answer I am. However $30,000 is a lot and if I didn't change my payment plans on them I would be paying around $500 a month. Also in a recent article I read online it stated most graduates from the last 5 years are only making $25000 or less a year on average which is my current position. It is very hard to keep up financially. If I extended my payment plan to 20 years then I would be paying an ungodly amount of interest.
