Short Summary
Humanitarian Aid Express is a volunteer organization (NGO) who transports goods and cargo as Humanitarian Aid to rural and remote areas of Ukraine and other Eastern European countries. We are situated on the west coast of Norway and travel the distance between the two countries two to three times every year.
Transport is arranged with an old 1995 model, volvo b10m- cargo (Half bus/half truck). We rent a trailer for each run, to maximize volume of cargo.
What We Need
We need to purchase our own trailer for this task. The one we rent is too small and costs us money in rental fees every time we run with it.
New/Used trailer is upwards of Euro 25.000,-
We can carry 3 extra TONS of cargo, equal to 235 - 250 extra boxes/bags of clothes. This amount would potentially keep children from two to five extra villages warm through winter.
Through owning our own trailer we save Euro 1000,- pr. run, making us able to spend more on our Local Humanitarian Aid projects in the township of Malyn and surroundings, Zhytomyr region of Ukraine.
